“Escape”

There are many rituals we partake in every day, but one that is special to me is playing guitar. I got my first guitar for Christmas when I was 15, and ever since then, I’ve made a point to try and play every day. Music has always been my escape and is something I can do when I need to relax and have a break from the world. The challenge of learning something new and the reward of being able to play my favorite songs makes playing guitar all the more satisfying to me. Being able to learn something without the pressure of a grade or deadline is incredibly freeing, and that feeling of freedom is something music has always been able to give me. Ever since I can remember, music has been a big part of my life and is something I will always keep as a daily ritual. I hope everyone can find something they can do daily that makes them as happy as music makes me.
