Tell us about …

Your favorite place to dance:

My favorite place to dance right now would have to be the Donald C. Bedell Performance Hall on the River Campus at Southeast Missouri State University. It is such a special space that is so rare to have the opportunity to perform on. I am fortunate enough to have had the chance to perform there multiple times. When I perform there, I am able to express my passion.

A time you moved to a new place:

When I was a senior in high school, my dad moved only a town over from Herrin, Ill., to Carbondale, Ill. It wasn’t a big move; I didn’t have to change schools, but I moved in with his girlfriend and her twins who I didn’t know very well. I was apprehensive to live with people I didn’t know, but I got to know them, and now that I am in college, I look forward to coming home and seeing them whenever I can.

A random fact about you:

A random fact about me is that I am Jewish. I was raised Reformed Jewish; it was recently Passover, and I went home for a Passover Seder with my family.

Five things you love:

The beach, going on hikes, performing, the strawberry refresher from Dunkin’ Donuts, my roommate’s cat.

Something you’re grateful for:

I am grateful for all of my friends I dance with at SEMO. They inspire me everyday in classes and rehearsals.
