This is a game of photography telephone, and here’s how it works: flourish photographer Aaron Eisenhauer took a photo and passed it along to photographer Kelly Downes. Then, Kelly took a photo that related to Aaron’s photo in some way, either in subject matter or in a formal element such as composition, style, color, etc., and passed her photo along to photographer Megan Burke. Megan then took a photo that related to Kelly’s in some way. Then, Megan passed her photo along to Aaron, who started the process over again.
For this series, each photographer created three photos.
We hope you enjoy viewing the ways different see-ers interpret ideas. It is fun to observe what they notice about each other’s work, what inspires them from it and the ways unique perspectives nuance, challenge and deepen our understanding of initial thoughts. When we create in conversation with others, looking at, listening to and receiving their unique contributions and then giving our own, we get to beautiful, unexpected places, together.
Such beauty can be created when an idea is passed along.
